Dolphins: young toddlers
Children enter the Dolphin classroom as older infants and transition to toddler skills and routines throughout the year. Toddlers receive encouragement and assistance learning how to crawl, walk, sit at the table, feed themselves solid food, and wash their hands.
Children are encouraged to use all of their senses to explore their world; the classroom climber, daily walks, large blocks, and playground time build our children’s large muscle strength.
Our toddler teachers have extensive training and knowledge of infant/toddler development. From the love and affection they receive as they enter the classroom each morning to fun art and music exploration, our teachers plan the children’s day around learning through play and close relationships.
